Ausgehend vom klassischen Kompositionsaufbau der Landschaft entwickelt Bruno Kurz feinnuancierte, gegenstandsfreie Farblandschaften von unglaublicher Leuchtkraft und Tiefenwirkung. Durch Schichtungen sowie die Kombination ungewöhnlicher Materialien – Gaze, Metallflächen, Hochglanz- und Harzschichten – erzielt der Künstler verblüffende optische Eindrücke. Stichworte wie Transparenz, Leichtigkeit oder Auflösung umschreiben die Wirkung am besten.
Bruno Kurz (* 1957) gelingt es, das klassische Leinwandwandbild in einen vor der Wand schwebenden Farbraum zu verwandeln. Die durch hochglänzende Harzschichten und metallische Oberflächen verursachten Lichtreflexe sowie Spiegelungen überlagern die Atmosphäre der Arbeiten.
