Eggli Daniel

"My sculptural works are committed to figuration, whereby the individual figures as well as larger ensembles are worked out of solid wood with a chain saw. In terms of content, it is about the representation of characters, which are often ironically overdrawn. The work is always based on the observation
of people." But the sculptor is never concerned in his works with specific persons, but with the figure as such, which is to be understood as a symbol or icon representing different social groups.
