Kurz Bruno

Starting from the classical compositional structure of the landscape, Bruno Kurz develops finely nuanced, non-representational color landscapes of incredible luminosity and depth. Through layering and the combination of unusual materials - gauze, metal surfaces, high-gloss and resin layers - the artist achieves astonishing visual impressions. Keywords such as transparency, lightness or resolution best describe the effect.

Bruno Kurz (* 1957) succeeds in transforming the classical canvas painting into a colour space floating in front of the wall. The light reflections and reflections caused by high-gloss resin layers and metallic surfaces overlay the atmosphere of the works.
