Wagenblast Daniel

Human figures standing on blue earth balls or giant screws and looking into the distance, carrying cars under their arms, or crouching on churches. The typified figures by Daniel Wagenblast (* 1963, Schwäbisch Gmünd) are made in various sizes - from materials such as wood, bronze or aluminum.

Daniel Wagenblast studied painting and graphics with Peter Grau and Rudolf Schoofs at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. Only after completing his studies did he start carving wood. In addition to numerous awards, he received the 1996 scholarship from the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation.

Daniel Wagenblast's works can be found in important private and public collections, and his exterior sculptures and plazas can be found all over Germany, England, Poland and France.
