Nach seiner Ausbildung an der Accademia delle Belle Arti in Mailand und dem Studium der Bildhauerei an der Universität Kassel STEFF LÜTHI (*1955) wandte er sich der Skulptur zu.
Seit 1981 präsentiert LÜTHI seine Werke in zahlreichen Einzelausstellungen, unter anderem in Arbon, Hamburg, Locarno und Bremen, und war an vielen Gruppenausstellungen in der Schweiz, Deutschland, Italien und Ungarn beteiligt. Für seine Arbeiten erhielt er verschiedene Preise und Werkbeiträge, unter anderem in Baden, Salzburg und St. Gallen. Zudem wurden seine Werke in Publikationen dokumentiert, und der Filmemacher Michael Aschwanden widmete ihm einen Dokumentarfilm.

Since 1981, LÜTHI has presented his works in numerous solo exhibitions, including in Arbon, Hamburg, Locarno and Bremen, and has participated in many group exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Hungary. He has received various prizes and grants for his work, including in Baden, Salzburg and St. Gallen. His works have also been documented in publications, and the filmmaker Michael Aschwanden dedicated a documentary film to him.
