Die Künstlerin (* 1965, Ravensburg) lotet in ihren Arbeiten den Bildraum mit Formen, Farben und Licht aus. Geschwungene Linien mit lasierenden Farbaufträgen erschaffen eine einzigartige Tiefenwirkung und damit spezifische Ausdruckskraft. Ihre Bilder baut sie aus unzähligen Farbschichten auf – lässt daraus strukturierte Bildräume entstehen.
Isa Dahl hat an der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart studiert sowie der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Sie hat zahlreiche Preise und Stipendien erhalten – wie den Villa Romana-Preis, den Förderpreis „Oberschwäbischer Kunstpreis“, den Förderpreis des Künstlerbunds Baden-Württemberg, das Stipendium der Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg und das Karl-Schmidt-Rottluff-Stipendium.
Arbeiten von Isa Dahl befinden sich in privaten und öffentlichen Sammlungen, sie ist auf nationalen und internationalen Messen vertreten.
