Following his training as a sculptor, HERBERT MEHLER (*1949 in Steinau) studied painting from 1972 to 1976 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg. Works by Mehler have been and continue to be exhibited in numerous museums, galleries, and public spaces, including the Schlossmuseum Aschaffenburg, the Artothek Nuremberg, the Artothek Krefeld, the Municipal Collections of Schweinfurt, the Water and Shipping Authority Schweinfurt, the Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea “Il Conventino” Monteciccardo/Italy, the Museum am Dom and the Museum im Kulturspeicher Würzburg, as well as the Federal Employment Agency Nuremberg, the Pension Insurance Institution of Lower Franconia, and the Badische Stahlwerke Kehl.
